Many companies will offer a “too good to be true” service call fee. Very low cost or even free service calls are easy to find. It is important that you know that we pay our Service Technicians a fair hourly wage. Most companies in our industry pay a commissioned based rate which means their technicians are more salesmen than HVAC specialists. This creates a system by which the technicians are financially rewarded by selling you parts and services and being in and out of your home quickly.

A commissioned rate pay system also allows companies to hide their true labor rates so they can just get in the door and try to upsell you. You can be assured that our technicians’ recommendations and diagnostics are not financially motivated, rather they are motivated by finding the best solution to a customer’s problem.

Koppel Services offers an up-front, easy to understand pricing structure. We charge $65 for our service call and a flat-rate installation fee on any parts, materials and tasks. The $65 includes our visit to your home and any diagnostic time required by the technician. If we must order a part and return to install it, you will NOT be charged for an additional service call.
