Crisis Levy 2014 and other measures announced postponed

The measures previously announced on accelerated depreciation on investments in 2013, the extension of the one-off crisis levy for the year 2014 and the freezing of the tax brackets and tax credits in 2014 are provisionally withdrawn. This can be concluded from the answers to parliamentary questions about the “sociaal akkoord”.

On March 1, 2013, the Minister of Finance announced several measures for 2013 and 2014. One of the measures related to the accelerated depreciation on investments in 2013. Measures for 2014 were the extension of the one-off crisis levy and freezing the tax brackets and tax credits. In answers to parliamentary questions, also on behalf of the Minister of Finance, stated that the government temporarily waives all measures from the proposed package of March 1, 2013. If later CPB estimates show that additional measures are necessary, these will be taken.
