Buy an economical car before July 1st
If you are considering buying an environmentally-friendly car, then register it before July 1, 2012. There are more lenient standards for CO2 emissions for the tax treatment of economical cars up to that date. For example, when you purchase before July 1, 2012 you have more chance that your car qualifies for a lower tax addition for private use or for a lower vehicle tax rate (BPM). Note that there are currently long(er) delivery times for fuel-efficient cars. You will probably not be the only one buying!
