Effective date of compulsory use of eRecognition is pushed back
The Tax and Customs Administration has responded to the upheaval in the business community caused by its earlier announcement about the use of the new log-on tool, eRecognition, being rendered compulsory for entrepreneurs who file their own payroll tax returns, by pushing back the effective date for filing and payment until the first of July 2020. A letter in confirmation of extension being automatically granted is shortly to go out to all affected entrepreneurs.
