Launch of DBA web module pilot

The DBA (= employment relations assessment) web module pilot has been up and running since 11 January 2021. It revolves around a questionnaire which when completed enables the user to make a legitimate choice between outsourcing particular duties to self-employed individuals and having the work performed by actual employees.

The module will remain available throughout the pilot phase on the government-sponsored “Answers for Business” web site. Participation is voluntary and the user’s anonymity is guaranteed. An evaluation round has been scheduled for the summer months so as to enable an informed decision being made as to whether the web module warrants being taken into permanent use. Enforcement of employment law regulations by the Tax and Customs Administration and the Social Affairs and Employment Inspectorate is to remain shelved until the first of October 2021 at the earliest.
