Koppel Services fulfills the compliance requirements set by the tax authorities for Horizontal Supervision (Horizontal Toezicht or HT). In other words: the tax authorities considers our work processes of a high enough quality to lay the responsibility for the accuracy of tax returns with ourselves. HT is, therefore, a sort of ISO norm for tax advisors. We are now allowed to nominate clients for HT, those of which we know will deliver the details for the tax return completely, correctly and in time. The clients profit from a number of advantages, such as a lower risk of a lawsuit, more assurance and reduced supervision from the tax authorities.
Although the bookkeeping for our customers has become a largely automated process with high-quality software, our service still retains the human touch, and where people are at work there are bound to be mistakes and misunderstandings.
