It has been decided to extend the term(s) of the Business Loan Guarantee (GO‑C) and Small Credit Guarantee (KKC) schemes, both of which involve the Dutch government standing as a (partial) guarantor for loans having been granted to essentially healthy businesses that have been affected by the corona outbreak.
Application for both schemes having originally been set to close by 15 December 2020 and operation of the schemes, by 31 December 2020, the persistence of the COVID‑19 situation has now prompted extension of the deadlines for both schemes to the first of July 2021, in line with the recent extension of the Temporary State Aid Framework Scheme, which is aimed shoring up the domestic economy while the corona virus continues to rage.
The deadline for state aid furnished by virtue of said Framework Scheme has been set at 30 June 2021.
